The kids were rock stars! We stopped at Nanny Anne's and visited with the Ryan's (and got a cute pic) on the way to Houston. As always, she sent us on our way better prepared for the journey- new toys, borrowed gadgets, etc, etc. Avery was too sweet, having to run out to our car as we were backing away to give me a kiss goodbye!
We had a great time during our week long "hurricane party"!! I wish I would have taken more pics but here's a few highlights:
1. Nothing beats hanging with Mamma on a road trip - insisting Ryker can potty wherever, whenever.
2. Singing every song we know to Hudson to keep him from crying - works every time. He especially loves Ryker's version of "twinkle twinkle little star..."
3. Spiderman that shoots. Iron man that shoots. As long as it shoots...oh the prizes and trips to toys r us.
4. Hudson really likes being on the go. He sleeps in the car and hangs in the stroller and highchair.
5. Ryker got a haircut - he was so patient! The stylist was such a perfectionist (which is good but concerning when you are dealing with a ticking time bomb). However, he was still and cooperative. (mommy was also on her game) I'm in love with this "big boy" look...and a tad sad **sniff** he looks too big!
6. Hudson got a new tooth! Top left. Let's hope the top right is soon to follow.
