Who knew Hudson would like BBQ sauce as much as his mommy!  He dipped his fries in sauce and sucked the sauce off. Then put the fry down and went on to the next one. Was loving it!

Nola entertainment

The kids were seranaded by a fella on the streets of Nola. On a balcony overlooking Decater St we feasted on nachos and chicken fingers this Saturday afternoon. Making memories...

He's been eating since 6:30am. (7:30 now) Cheerios, cereal bar, grapes, oranges, more Cheerios and now vanilla wafers. (And he said cheese for this photo)

That's super hero ryker to you

We built Legos tonight. He is so meticulous and likes eveything done the right way. We followed the picture on the box to perfection. I told him "Ryker you are so smart, can I call you Dr Ryker?" "No you can't (then he thought for a second and said) but you can call me Super hero Ryker!"  

He's been super hero ryker all night!

Ryker got to go to belle isle for the night. "Yay! I haven't been to belle isle in a long time!" Is how he responded to the invitation. I'm told it was HOT! But he had a blast.

Heightened level of security

Ryker has found that he can keep Hudson from taking his stuff by storing it on a shelf in our living room.  

Yesterday he was concerned about Hudson getting his paper airplane (which is still there) and today it's his flip flops. This could begin to be a problem!

Is the kitchen closed?

It's 8:15pm. Ryker just came ask me "is the kitchen closed?"  Me:"no sweetie can I make you something?" Ryker: "no i don't need nuffin'. I just want to get bullseye". (His toy that was in the kitchen)

Later he invites me to come see his room. He had cleaned it! He wanted me to see woody sitting on bullseye. (Must have been why he wanted bullseye from the kitchen). When the artwork he had made fell he rested it back against the wall and said "I am going to fix it so it doesn't get ruined". Then on the way out he told me "I like my pretty room". 

We spent rest of evening organizing toys in the family room. Cracks me up that everytime their is a toy "out of place" he blames it on either Hudson or Mrs Alma. "Mrs Alma must have did that". 

OCD

Today I moved Rykers furniture from his room and put it in our family room to allow for a desk in his room and keep most of the toys together in the family room. I had time to complete his room transformation before he came home. He was elated with his new room and wanted to help fix the toys in the new shelves. I told him he could help me when I got back from grocery. When I came home he couldn't wait to show me what he had done. Rather than throw all the toys back in the original baskets and shove them on the shelves, he had individually laid out each toy out in an organized fashion on the top shelf.

But he needed help because 'where are we going to put all the other toys?' Hmmm. I wish y'all could see this in person.

I have a feeling Hudson will not be any help keeping these toys in their spot!
