Weather perfection
80 degrees + no humidity - Mosquitos = trifecta. You can't help but sit outside and bask in the sunlight (especially after all the rain we got all week). Saturday we spent the day by Loveys pool with Aunt Mary talking about upcoming vacations and looking forward to summertime. We had such a long day, we slept over and Ryker and Hudson caught some morning cartoons together. Chef Justin grilled for us all weeked: juicy steaks followed by juicy burgers. Yum! And by Sunday evening it didn't take long before the pillow hit the head and lights were out. God gave us another perfect weekend. We are blessed.

Green Day
Ryker was dying for some spiderman tattoos to replace the ones he got at the rodeo last weekend. So Justin took him to party city. He said Ryker's face lit up when he put them on. They are all down both arms and on his knees!
Meanwhile Hudson and I spent the morning at Southland Mall (yes, you read that right).

My little lamb
I love Saturday mornings because I stare at this sweet face as long as I want! He fell asleep on my lap this morning (we've been up off and on since 4). My other boys are snoring in our bed!
30 min later...Ryker comes find us in the tv room. He walks in with his bed head and big smile carrying his blanket and asks me "can I play with toys?" Yes, angel! All day long!

New Bike!
Lovey got Ryker a new 14" bike for his birthday. It had been in the box since his party. Last night he must have seen it in the garage which started the constant begging all evening for Justin to put it together. After convincing him to take a bath first (thinking we might could postpone the process of putting it together till Saturday morning), Justin finally caved when he was still begging for his bike even after he was all clean and the jammies were on.
Ryker patiently watched (and assisted) as Justin set up his new big boy bike piece by piece. And of course, once all done, at 9:30pm he had to break it in by taking it outside for a spin!

Ladies Man
We headed to the doctor today for his 2 months shots. He was a ham and cooed and smiled at all the nurses. Such the ladies man!
He's 12lbs 10oz and 24"!!

Family Saturday
It was rodeo time at UMCLC! So we took our little cowboy and spent the afternoon riding a real Bullseye! He liked driving the tractor too.
We wrapped the day up at Nicks house to celebrate Mary's birthday. Ryker loves playing with his cousins! And I had plenty help with Hudson!

Happy Birthday to Ryker!
How are you already 3 years old? Everyone says it goes by fast.
From the beginning of party planning, it was easy to know that Ryker wanted to celebrate Thomas the Train style. He loves those trains! So Lovey and I kicked it in gear and pulled it off...with a little help from our friends.
Huge thanks to Aunt Jillian and Uncle John, Papa Chet, Mamma, Grammi (who was a huge help while she was in town) and of course, Daddy!
Almost all of his friends showed up and the weather coorperated. Ryker never took a nap that day, Justin and I know it's because he didn't want the day to end! He took his time opening his presents and playing with each of toys.
Ryker, you are such a blessing to us! You are my angel and we love you very much.
