Knot Afraid
Our own little "Monster". He has No fear. He's head first every time. He's aggressive and ambitious and all boy. There is a new scratch, knot, bump and bruise every day. I guess we are both getting tougher...
7 to 7
Hudson don't ever let anyone tell you weren't as good of a sleeper as Ryker! You have been sleeping for 10-12 hours at night for as long as I can remember! Bless you. This family...well, it's no secret we love our "shows" and we love our sleep!!

Weekend VOWing
It just doesn't get any better than this. Local festival, live music, food, friends and hanging with the boys. They had a blast! I've never seen ryker so entertained ~ he spent 3 hours running jumping and sliding down the 4 bouncy houses. It was big smiles all weekend. Xoxo

Boys will be boys
Love the pic of my boys chillaxin on the sofa this morning. It's the stillest I've ever seen Hudson besides when he's sleeping.
Ryker spent the afternoon at Papa Chet's with Uncle Steven, Collin and Alexander. Dad tells me Ryker let him know he needed to upgrade his toy selection. It looks like they spent a lot of time at the pond fishing and didn't waste any time finding the indoor restroom. He came home and went straight to bed. It should be fun waking him up for school tomorrow...he will have to go directly to the bath!

Nemo and Ted
Justin and Ryker went to Cade Dumond's 1st birthday party today and came home with 2 friends. It was a fish themed party and the kids got to go fishing in swimming pools for goldfish. How cute, right?! Ryker is so excited! He named them himself.
That's them in the cup...

Where did my baby go?
I cleaned out Hudson and Ryker's closets today. It was time to move out clothes they have outgrown and open up Rubbermaids of Ryker's hand-me-downs for Hudson. When I finished, it was quite sad to see Hudson's baby blue closet of layettes and bubble suits transformed into a colorful selection of collared polos, toddler jumpers, jeans and khakis! I packed up all the baby blankets and sweet newborn Kissy Kissy's finding myself wondering when I would open them again - another baby for us or would it be when Jill, Stephanie or Ches have kids?? Only God knows.
Until then and every day after, I will treasure every moment with my kids and document these milestones! They really do grow too fast. Hudson, 8 months old, will be walking before we know it and the days of him crawling will be long gone. Ryker is already my "big boy" with a new "big boy" haircut reminding me he won't stay 3 forever. (he's currently sleeping in our bed next me, wearing his woody pjs and snoring!...and I love it! Wouldn't have it any other way.)
It was game day tonight (Bulldogs didnt play) and I had found this old LSU onsie of Ryker's in the boxes today. Tag says 12 months. Doesn't he look handsome...and way too grown up!
I love my boys! Thank you Lord for these two kind-hearted, healthy boys and thank you for every day You give us with them. I pray for your guidance and grace as Justin and I parent these precious children you have entrusted us with. In Jesus name, Amen.
