Don't Cry for Me

Many tears were shed when we had to say good-bye to Aunt Stephie, who is headed to Argentina for (gasp) 6 months.

My kids have 2 of the best aunts/nannies in the whole wide world so it's hard to imagine one of them being so far away for such a long period of time. But we know that she's following her heart!

We could not be more proud of you, Aunt Stephie. We look forward to hugging your neck upon your return.

Visitors

I loved all of our visitors! It's a shame we don't have pictures of everyone. But thank you to everyone who took time to come by and meet Hudson. We also appreciated all the flowers and gifts - they really brightened my room, especially since I opted to stay there for 4 nights.

Much love...

Easter Egg Hunt

The May girls were headed to the annual Easter Egg Hunt at the local church and invited us to tag along.

Ryker found one egg and was satisfied with that.

Miriam and Alexander came with us and collected a basket full of Easter Eggs.

Ryker was really only interested in tackling the stairs, while Riggs sat there like a perfect angel.

"Coming?"

Avery happily collected her eggs (and Rigg's eggs, and Ryker's eggs), then she had no problem taking a break to pose for the camera. Diva.

Sweet Frances was excited to see "Rocker", as she calls him. I love it!

Ryker's 1st Birthday Party

I have too many people to thank for helping me pull off this party! I could have never done this with out you. And the weather couldn't have been more perfect!

It was a wonderful Saturday afternoon! Maybe we'll make this an annual race?

Belle Isle

After Thanksgiving, we headed to our hunting camp for an overnight stay.

Sunset on the swamp

Boat ride - it took 3 boats to get us all there, Lovey and Ryker scored seats in the cabin!

Pulling up and playing with his babysitters (cousins)

The guys decide to show up!

Look at this dufus on the right! (haha)

Jaimo, our best babysitter! Ryker was super relaxed at the camp. He loved it!

When Ryker's older he'll give me a hard time about not having him camo! But what a great shot!

Picking up Satchmo (Uncle Ches) from the stand at about 8am

Lovey, still looking stylish
