While enjoying a relaxing vacation in Cabo, Mamma entertained the boys at a local park one afternoon.
After 45 minutes of non-stop playing, she told them it was time to leave, to which Hudson shakes his head and firmly responds "no". He then proceeds to climb to the top of the slide where Mamma can't reach him. When she goes left he goes right, when she goes right he goes left. It was almost impossible for her to catch him.
After a long 15 min or so playing Hudson's game of chase with his great grandmother a mere 70 years his elder - a nice man offered to help get him down. An offer she gratefully accepted. We laughed together as she told me the story - what would she have done had the man not intervened?!
In a later conversation between Ryker and Mamma, Ryker says "I was good huh Mamma".
Courtni (our *sniff* ex-sitter) had treated the boys to an afternoon picnic at that same park just a few weeks before and had shared with me some pics...priceless. Especially as I imagine my young grandmother chasing after these two active boys alone on a hot afternoon.
Lucky boys these are to have such a fun grandma!
